Dear congregation of Bethany United Methodist Church,
On behalf of the women and children of La casa de las Madres we would like to extend our sincerest appreciation for your kindness and unwavering generosity during our annual Adopt a Family Campaign. Your support and compasion enabled us to provide a bountiful holiday season to over 425 women, teens and children. Our heartfelt graditude can only be expressed through the words of a family that was touched by your kindness this holiday season.
"I was so overwhelmed by your generosity and consider our family blessed. Your gift has helped our family get back on our feet and keep warm in these cold San Francisco winters. The children loved thrir gifts and could not wait to get back to their room to play with there toys. We are escaping an abusive relationship. I took only what I could fit in suitcases and snuck out without my husband noticing. It made me cry to receive such generosity. Bless you.

We too, are overwhelmed by this years outpouring of support. Nearly 100 organizations, community groups, businesses, schools, families and individuals participated in directly touching the lives of those we serve. Our ability to create a community free from violence relies upon the support and dedication of the community it affects. With your help, we are making a difference.
